Under the standard insurance, your belongings are automatically covered for up to $0.60 per pound if any items are damaged or lost. An item which is 100lbs either lost or damaged will be eligible for up to 60$ in compensation for any repairs, above that weight let us know and we will do the best we can.

Instead of repairing or replacing any lost or damaged items, under Extensive Liability Coverage you will be compensated at the rate of $2 per pound per item. 3% of the total weight of your load would be the cost of Extended Liability Coverage.

Example #1: The estimated weight of your belongings is 1000 lbs. The cost of Extended Liability Coverage is $30 (1000 lbs x 3%).

Example #2: The estimated weight of your belongings is 3500 lbs. The cost of Extended Liability Coverage is $105 (3500 lbs x 3%).

Under VC , Boxify is liable upto a certain amount against the estimate of the property value being moved. VC is optional and can be opted at an additional cost. $2/lb is the compensation rate for any lost or damaged boxes, bags and bins.

The item must be insured for a minimum sum of $30,000.

• Up to 3000 lbs, the insurance covers up to 12 cents per total weight of the load, above 3000lbs it would be 10 cents, ex: the customer with items of 3000 lbs will be covered up to $360 (3000 lbs x $0.12).
• All the claims under Valuable & Extended coverage plans are subject to a minimum deductible of $300 which has to be borne by the client/customer.
• Items’ value is determined based on search engine data of their online brand value, product type, and online auction listings.
• As the depreciation value increases by 13.5 per cent every year since the initial purchase of the items, antique items cannot be covered under Valuable Coverage.
